Kids' Cooking Class at Furn in Bahrain

A while ago, we had one of those experiences where I found myself wondering, “Why haven’t I known about this?“

Furn Bistro & Bakery, located in City Center Mall in downtown Manama, offers a cooking class for kids every Saturday morning. Yes - every Saturday!

From 9 AM to 10 AM - before the mall even opens - they will take your little munchkins and “teach” them to make pizzas or cookies or scones. Every week they offer something different.

For just 5 BD per kid, they provide an apron, a chef’s hat, patient instructors, and all the ingredients they need (often the dough is prepared beforehand).

Then afterwards, the kids get to eat what they create, plus enjoy a fresh juice (also included).

But the best part, the one you can’t put a price tag on, is the ability for Mom and Dad to be able to sit and have a nice breakfast out.

And for all the times we’ve gone, we’ve often been the only ones there. No one seems to know about it! Let’s keep it a secret, yes?

So, if you’re interested, just give them a call at +973 17171133 and make a reservation - this way they can make sure that they have the materials all prepared and ready for when you bring the pile of munchkins in.

Off to Furn we go! See you on Saturday!
